The figure that presides over the rotunda reproduces the capital 'M' of the name of the City and represents its corporate brand. Installed in 2010, it measures 20 meters in length and weighs 22 tons. Its colors correspond to those present in the local heraldic shield: the blue of water and sky; the golden yellow of the bridge, tower and crown; and the red of the rhinestones that adorns it.
