The space located between the BU-740 road and the Ebro and Zadorra rivers is the archaeological site of Arce-Mirapérez / Deóbriga. An important enclave with almost 2,000 years of history. Between 1999 and 2010, the excavations revealed that the current space - about 30 hectares - had a very intense activity that can be centered between the year 1000 BC and 1000 AD. This site houses the remains of the Austrian period corresponding to the city of Deóbriga as well as its subsequent transformation into a Roman city, whose population reached, according to estimates, 6,000 people.
